Dr. Erdmann is a tenured Professor of Surgery at Duke Health in Durham, NC (USA). He is covering a broad-spectrum of reconstructive plastic surgery including microsurgery. He performed the first abdominal wall transplantation in conjunction with a small bowel transplant from the same donor in the Carolinas in 2018.
