Dr Efterpi Demiri is a Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Head of the Plastic Surgery University Department of Papageorgiou Hospital in Thessaloniki, Greece. She specializes in breast & lymphedema reconstruction, reconstructive microsurgery, and hand surgery.  She has served as a Visiting Professor at leading institutions in Europe and USA. She has authored over 110 peer-reviewed papers and numerous book chapters, has been invited to lecture at more than 280 national and international meetings, and has served as a Board member of many Greek and International Scientific Societies and Academic Committees. She is elected President of the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (2024-25).
