Jason Wong
Jason Wong is the Professor of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Manchester and the Greater Manchester Lead for OrthoPlastic Surgery. He specialises in Complex wound reconstruction and Extremity Surgery. Jason has research interests in Wound Healing, Vascularised Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine and Enhanced Rehabilitation. He is a clinician scientist with experience taking bench side innovations through to the clinic. Currently he leads the “PROPERLY” study on an innovative Major Trauma Enhanced Rehabilitation service, has several funded translational studies with Industry, and trains Academic Plastic Surgeons out of the Blond McIndoe Laboratories in the UK.
