Luigi Troisi MD, PhD, FEBOPRAS, FACS joined the University Department of Hand Surgery & Rehabilitation - San Giuseppe Hospital - IRCCS MultiMedica Group Milan in February 2019.
Luigi Troisi is currently the Head of the Reconstructive Microsurgery Service (MultiMedica Group), Adjunct Professor of the School of Specialisation in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the University of Milan.
Luigi Troisi is the Co-ordinator of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship of the University of Milan “La Statale”.
His specialist training took place in Trieste, Italy, with Prof. Zoran M. Arnez, before undertaking fellowships (Microvascular / Lower Limb) in Bristol, UK.
During his training Luigi had the chance to be mentored by great microsurgeons such as prof. Zoran M. Arnez, prof. Bernard Devauchelle, Mr Umraz Khan and prof. Moazzam Tarar.
His main interest is in Reconstructive Microsurgery, in particular Limbs Reconstruction, Breast Reconstruction and Pressure Ulcers.
