Dr. Yu is currently a professor and Chairman in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Yu is a world-renowned expert in complex head and neck reconstruction, tracheoesophageal reconstruction and perforator flaps with more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Yu was awarded the Godina Traveling Fellow by ASRM in 2007 and the 2025 Buncke Lecturer.
