Yu-te Lin
Dr. Yu-Te Lin was trained in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou. He got the Board of General Surgery and the Board of Plastic Surgery in 1997 and 1998. He got the Board of Hand Surgery in 1999. He started to serve in the Division of Trauma Plastic Surgery from 1998. He devoted himself to the hand surgeries. Between 2001 and 2003, he obtained a Research Fellowship in the Orthopedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, United States. Meanwhile, he attained the Master of Science from Mayo Graduate School. After return, he continued services in the trauma team.

Dr. Lin has published more than 10 book chapters and more than 150 scientific articles. He has trained more than 60 international fellows. He focuses on hand and microsurgery. His innovation in arterialized venous flaps improved the reliability of the unphysiologic flaps. His anatomy findings of the extensor mechanism and unique techniques also ameliorated the outcomes of vascularized toe PIP joint transfers.
